Episode 012: Could your organization use a rebrand?

It might help in unexpected ways.

Untitled design (17)

Today we are joined by Sunnee O’Rork, Executive Director of i.d.e.a. Museum.

After 35 years, the Arizona Museum for Youth was thought of as a dinosaur…literally! Attendance was stagnant, prospective donors didn’t know what the organization stood for, and the visiting public often showed up looking for dinosaurs (the Arizona Museum of Natural History is just down the street).

A year after a major rebranding effort, the i.d.e.a. Museum is enjoying a renaissance far beyond anyone’s expectations. The organization has surpassed its attendance projections three years ahead of schedule. Philanthropic support is up significantly. Recognition and enthusiasm are at all-time highs.

Sunnee breaks it all down for us: how to know if you’re a candidate for a rebrand, where to start, and who can help. No fluff; just great advice!

  • The importance of diplomacy.
  • Her secret to staying centered and productive.
  • How mentors have helped her learn and grow.
