GoalsOnTrack

I absolutely love this tool. Like many goal-tracking systems, GoalsOnTrack is a cloud-based system that empowers you to set and manage your goals. The layout is extremely logical, with main goals that can be broken into sub-goals. Additionally, it encourages you to define tasks that contribute to the goals, and updates your goal progress when you complete the tasks.

Two features really stand out for me, though. The habit tracker allows you to document those repeatable tasks that, when accomplished repeatedly, help you get closer to your goals. For instance, I am working on the habit of getting exercise first thing in the morning. It sounds silly, but checking that box is hugely motivating for me, and I’m equally disappointed when I don’t (we all slip up sometimes).

The other feature that I really appreciate is the Vision Board. You can upload photos into GoalsOnTrack to represent the benefits of reaching a goal, like a vacation you’re saving for. When you’ve got a major project to work on, you can set GoalsOnTrack to display a slideshow on your second monitor to keep you focused.
