About our founder...

Darren Macfee began his consulting practice in 2013 and has helped hundreds of organizations and leaders to grow their effectiveness. He has worked in 39 states, Canada, and Mexico.

Darren’s areas of special expertise are the areas of governance, leadership team cohesion, operationalizing strategic plans, management, and executive leadership. He is most interested in the psychology of leadership and is a stickler for accountability. Clients tell Darren that his special skill is his facilitative style.

Before consulting, Darren was the Executive Director of the Lincoln (Nebraska) Children’s Museum, the Director of Development for Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, and got his start at the National Arbor Day Foundation.

Growing up on a family farm out on the great plains forged in him practicality, humility, and home-spun wisdom which he brings to all his engagements. He is as comfortable in Manhattan, New York as he is in Manhattan, Kansas.
